As part of our Mobilisation Services, Tymor Marine US Inc. in Lafayette, supported by our team in Aberdeen, has delivered Seafastening Design and Analysis for Fugro Geoservices and their mobilisation of the MV Regulus at the Port of Fourchon.
Tymor has a history of supporting subsea contractors with responsive and reliable class approved designs. Using our unique fastening methods, we are able to minimise welding, which is both time consuming and damaging to the vessel and equipment. To reduce mobilisation downtime, we work with our clients to modify their equipment at the design stage, advising on skids and frames to facilitate quick fastening and release concepts. We also work to minimise the amount of steel used by creating generic grillage, maximised to suit a range of vessels and reused for the deployment of multiple equipment spreads from the client’s fleet.
Our draughting design team, also based in the US, use the UK/US time difference to create overnight solutions for European clients, delivering faster solutions to enable our clients to meet their deadlines.
If you have any questions about your next mobilisation, please get in touch.
